Goodwill-West Texas currently has a job opening for a Store Manager.

Required Education/Experience

·         High School Diploma or equivalent required

·         Customer service experience required

·         Retail sales & management experience preferred

·         Experience in a rehabilitative field preferred

·         Must be certified/certifiable in CPR/First Aid

·         Verifiable references must be provided

Minimum Qualifications/ Special Skills/Knowledge

·         Ability to accurately operate and balance cash register

·         Must have valid Texas Drivers license with own transportation

·         Ability to read and write English effectively

·         Communicate effectively with co-workers and employees

·         Mobility, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds safely

·         Standing and walking for long periods

·         Stooping and bending

Responsibilities & Duties

·         Motivate and organize a support sales team with varied work performance levels

·         Responsible for creating displays utilizing creative merchandising techniques

·         Express genuine concern for customers and their needs

·         Assist donors with merchandise

·         Community-focused with a willingness to actively represent Goodwill-West Texas in a positive manner

·         Responsible for hiring and training of employees

·         Supervise and train disabled employees in all aspects of donation process and various store operations

·         Create and maintain a working environment that is conducive to positive productivity for all employees

·         Responsible for responding to the needs of disabled employees in a sensitive and effective manner

·         Responsible for daily operations of store, including making daily deposits and producing regular reports

·         Responsible for accurate balancing of cash drawer

·         Responsible for cleaning inside and outside building

·         Relate appropriately and positively with co-workers

·         Must create and maintain a cost effective work schedule to include sales clerks, donation handlers, and production workers

·         Must be willing to cover shifts of absent workers when necessary

·         Responsible for any task necessary to ensure continual store operations

·         Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
